Fulfillment & Shipping
Order Fulfillment
We strive to complete orders within 2-3 business days. Please note, this does not include shipping time. Orders placed after 4:00pm CST will be started the following business day. Order fulfillment may take slightly longer for customized confections, for large orders, or during peak seasons (ex. Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter). To avoid orders sitting in transit over the weekend, Christo’s Confections reserves the right to postpone shipment of orders made on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday to the following week.
Upon order completion, customers will receive an email with tracking information or notifying them that their order is ready for pickup.
Please ensure that all order and delivery information is correct before submitting your order. If changes need to be made once you have placed your order, please give us a call at 205.706.4018 as soon as possible. Additional charges may apply to order modifications. Orders cannot be modified once they have shipped. If a shipping address needs to be modified after the package has shipped, carriers may charge a $10-$30 fee that will be required to make the change.
Local Pickup
Complementary local pickup is available to customers in the Birmingham, Alabama, area. Pickup locations are in Vestavia Hills, AL, and Hoover, AL. If you choose “Local Pickup” at order checkout, Christo’s Confections will be in touch via email to arrange pickup details. Once an email has been sent notifying the customer that an order is ready for pickup, we will hold the items for up to five (5) business days. If no response is received from the customer, we will follow up via phone call, text, or email. If the customer does not pick up the order or make other arrangements with Christo’s Confections within five business days, we reserve the right to cancel the order with no refund or credit provided.
Shipping Time
We offer two methods for shipping throughout the USA: Standard Shipping (3-5 day transit) and Express Shipping (2-3 day transit). Transit times are estimates and are dependent on our third-party carrier partners, UPS and USPS. Transit times may be longer based on proximity to Birmingham, Alabama, or during holiday seasons. Christo’s Confections is not responsible for UPS or USPS shipping delays.

Temperature
Chocolate is a temperature-sensitive product. We urge you to consider temperatures and proximity to Birmingham, Alabama, when choosing to ship our products. While we prioritize protecting your confections when packing an order, Christo’s Confections is not responsible for broken, melted, deformed, bloomed, or otherwise damaged goods that result from occurrences during transit. Claims may be made directly with the carrier service, and we are happy to help with your claim to the best of our ability.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Due to the nature of our product, we are typically unable to accept returns and exchanges. If you experience an issue with your order, we will certainly strive to make it right. However, issues are resolved on a case-by-case basis, and we cannot guarantee a refund or replacement.
